Dr. Akintunde Bello brings more than three decades of experience in preclinical and clinical drug development. He began his career at Rhone Poulenc Rorer (Sanofi) in the UK and later held senior leadership roles at Pfizer and Bristol Myers Squibb, where he served as Senior Vice President and Head of Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacometrics, and Bioanalysis.

He has played key roles in the development, approval, and life cycle management of 15 marketed drugs across oncology, cardiovascular, inflammation, and infectious disease areas. Dr. Bello holds degrees from Portsmouth University, the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, and King’s College London, and has authored over 90 peer-reviewed publications.

Dr. Bello also serves on the boards of Xilio Therapeutics and the RCDII Charity and is recognized for his mentorship and leadership in the biopharmaceutical field, including honors from the Aleto Foundation and The Medicine Maker Power List.
