Jeffrey T. Hane, Ph.D. - COO and CIO

Jeff's experience in the pharmaceutical industry spans 20+ years and has focused on regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and computer systems validation in R&D and technical operations. His interests include contemporary compliance solutions, open source software for pharmaceutical applications, and high-performance computing technologies. Jeff provides the technical and operational direction for MetrumRG. Email

William R. Gillespie, Ph.D. - Vice President, Strategic Modeling and Simulation

For over 20 years Bill has been involved in the development and application of pharmacometric methodology for enhancing drug treatment, development and regulation. His current interests include the use of Bayesian modeling and simulation to optimize decision-making in clinical drug development and treatment. He plans to make Bayesian modeling and simulation methods more accessible via training programs and development of software tools. Email

William Knebel, Pharm.D., Ph.D. - Principal Scientist II

Bill comes to MetrumRG with 7+ years of applying mathematical modeling and simulation techniques across academic and industrial settings to optimize drug development. Bill’s current interests include the application of a high-performance computer clustering environment to facilitate problem solving in drug development. Email

Matthew M. Riggs, Ph.D. - Principal Scientist II

Matt offers 5+ years of industry experience including the application of modeling and simulation for clinical pharmacology and later phase drug development decisions. Matt's interests include the development and application of mechanistic exposure-response models to enable appropriate study design, translational biomarker identification and characterization throughout drug development. John T. Mondick, Ph. D. - Senior Scientist II

John has 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and academia applying modeling and simulation to problems in clinical pharmacology. John’s interests include the application of modeling and simulation in pediatric pharmacology and the development of mechanistic models to optimize decision making in drug development. Email

Timothy T. Bergsma, Ph.D. - Senior Scientist

Tim has served academic and industry communities for 5+ years in information management, bioinformatics, and software consultation. He is especially interested in computer systems integration, design of scientific databases, and generalization of analytical solutions. Email

Jeannine M. Fisher, M. S. - Research Scientist

Jeannine has 7+ years of clinical research experience in the pharmaceutical industry and additional pharmaceutical research expertise in drug metabolism. With extensive knowledge in Phase 1 clinical trial design and analysis, Jeannine is interested in the application of more advanced population PK/PD modeling and simulation techniques to influence the later phases of drug development. Jeffrey is an applied mathematician and software engineer specializing in computer algebra and bioinformatics. His previous industrial employers have included both software development and pharmaceutical companies. Email

George Georgalis - Information Systems Scientist

George has been administering and architecting information systems since 1998, including small offices, ISP facilities, and a top level domain registrar. George brings UNIX and Linux expertise in the design, deployment, configuration management, and security of information systems. His interests include raising the standards of high performance, regulated computing. Email

Heidi S. Costa - Technical Documentation Specialist

Heidi is a graduate (summa cum laude) of the University of Massachusetts-Amherst where she majored in English and earned a certificate of concentration in Professional Writing and Technical Communication. She was a recipient of the W. Scott Jeffrey Award in recognition of her accomplishments in technical writing. Email
